Presented by the Theatre shop in 1971 at the Actors' Workshop.
Program note: "Comrades is not a very good play. The characters are interesting though, because they are based on Strindberg's own unhappy marriage. We have cast and rehearsed and revised in a way that Strindberg wouldn't like at all. But what we hope to show is that the Women's Lib movement is not very new. The Actor's [sic] Workshop is presenting this as an 'example piece.' You will notice that the actors vary greatly in proficiency. As always, (as with the whole summer ahead) those who know little learn from those who know more--and those who know more...teach. Come to Actor's Workshop."
